Our Story
Edwin Capital was founded in 2026 with a clear objective: to honor the legacy of successful entrepreneurs by acquiring, operating, and stewarding exceptional B2B technology businesses into their next stage of growth.
Our company name is a reference to Edwin Brockman, a Missouri farmer from a German immigrant family and the great-grandfather of our founder. He instilled in his family the values of honesty, modesty, hard work, and timeliness. Today, five generations carry his name forward with respect for those values and upholding the legacy of those who came before us.
We are rooted in St. Louis but also committed to becoming active members of the community where we acquire a business — not just as investors, but as neighbors.

Ryan Brockman is the founder and President of Edwin Capital. He lives in St. Louis, MO with his wife Hyuni and their children Reece and Henry.
Ryan was born and raised in the Midwest, where he has been a lifelong resident. He began his career in technology consulting at Andersen Consulting in Chicago, which later became Accenture. There he built deep expertise in leveraging technology to drive operational improvements, new revenue streams, and mergers and acquisitions with global corporate clients. He has also held leadership roles with technology service providers such as Amazon Web Services and CenturyLink Cloud. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from Lake Forest College in Illinois.
Ryan launched Edwin Capital in 2026 with a clear objective: to honor the legacy of other successful entrepreneurs by acquiring, operating, and stewarding exceptional businesses into their next stage of growth. Ryan couldn't be more excited to take on this new challenge and lead a great business like yours into the future!
In their free time, Ryan and family enjoy travel, hiking, skiing, and sailing. They are also active in youth hockey in St. Louis.
